MK-17 B/B Rear Intake Diesel

The MK-17 1.5cc compression ignition (diesel) engines were designed for mass production and distribution throughout the U.S.S.R. These engines were widely used in the Communist school systems during the Communist occupation.  With the expulsion of the Communist, large stocks were available for export at prices below any rational cost calculation.

These are great "first diesels" because of their excellent performance at a bargain price.
