Return of Engines

CARLSON ENGINE IMPORTS will accept returns for parts and components, or offer an exchange based upon availability and the unused original. Certain bulk purchases (fuel line for example) will not be accepted for return. For engines it is recommended that the start-up and run in information be reviewed prior to first attempting starting the engine.  Engines generally cannot be automatically returned due to the unknown nature of the end user and starting attempt methods.  However, we will accept engines back for examination review and if found a warranty issue is in order we will work with purchaser to that end.  Unopened engines can be returned, and if deemed un-operated, we will issue return after inspection.

Warranty Information:

CARLSON ENGINE IMPORTS provides importer direct warranty service for 6 months after retail sale of all MP Jets.  This warranty covers repair of manufacturing or material defects only.  For service under this warranty, return the MP Jet with the Guarantee card signed and dated by the dealer, a letter explaining the suspected manufacturing or material defect and a $6.00 allowance for return postage and handling directly to CARLSON ENGINE IMPORTS.

PROGRESSIVE AREO WORKS provides factory direct warranty service for two months after retail sale of all PAW engines.  This warranty covers repair of manufacturing or material defects only.  For service under this warranty, return the PAW engine with a dated sales receipt, a letter explaining the suspected manufacturing or material defect and a 3.00 pound allowance for return postage and handling directly to PROGRESSIVE AREO WORKS.

CARLSON ENGINE IMPORTS provides no other warranty service for any of the other engines sold.  For any non-warranty service, please call CARLSON ENGINE IMPORTS at 602-863-1684 prior to sending any engine for service.
